Bush Birds (7 -12 years old)

Make your own bird or bush sculpture to take home.
Come and forage in McClelland’s bushland with our Education staff and find your own natural materials to make a unique sculpture, a bush bird (or two!), or something to hang at home – the choice is yours!
This workshop is aimed at children 7-12 years old, without accompanying adults. Numbers are very limited so bookings are highly recommended.

Natural Sculptures Workshops NAIDOC WEEK

Using natural material from McClelland’s bushland, learn how to make your own mobile sculpture or bushcraft. Take your artwork home or display it in our temporary exhibition for the holidays.
Workshops will be led by McClelland’s First Nations Education and Programs Coordinator Rebecca Robinson, a proud descendant of the trawlwoolway people of lutruwita/Tasmania and the Bunurong of the Kulin Nation of Victoria.
These drop-in workshop are accessible to all audiences.
