Bicentennial Park, Chelsea

2013-06-05_0006Bicentennial Park is absolutely amazing.  From the minute you walk through the child proof gates you feel like you have entered another world with  toadstool houses full of musical bells, a train compete with ticket stand, swings galore – all around a giant central mountain with huge slides.  You can spend hours here  exploring all the areas and there are plenty of chairs and tables for a lovely family picnic.  The playground itself is surrounded by open green areas and bike paths making this park the complete package.

While it is a little north of the Peninsula it is easily accessible thanks to Peninsula Link and well worth the travel.  Highly recommended.
